You can appear for EAMCET-Andhra Pradesh after 12th for a shot at getting admission in an engineering college in this branch. Else you can think of doing BCA or BCS after your 12th. It all depends on your performance in CET, marks in 12th aptitude etc.

They also take admission on the basis of WBJEE rank.

It is understood that average CTC of students of IITs or NITs placed in last season was around 20L. It's actually the college rather than the branch which is more influencer. Recently an agricultural engineer has been offered CTC of 1Cr. But speaking in general students of CSE or IT get salaries above 1L per month. Best wishes to you.
