SASTRA admissions aren't based on cut off marks. They are based on your overall score in 12th.
You can choose any course you like. ECE, EEE, E&I departments are competitive, bit tough and lots of hard work required.
School of Chemical and Biotechnology - Staffs are good and they teach well.
If you want to be cool and relaxing go for mechanical or computing.
Job placements are mostly IT companies. There are also few core companies coming in for other dept.

First things first, UPES has a name for its domain specific MBA and so the domain focused MBA are good. If you want to pursue MBA in oil and gas, power management or energy trading (in this order of ranking for ROI) then you can do wonders and will have good ROI. Other MBA courses are also industry specific but the placements for them are not good.

Hi Sayantan,
Actually both universities are really good with their journalism and mass communication in PG level.
But Viswa Bharati University's PG degree is there for quite long time whereas JU just starting MA in Journalism and Mass Communication in this year only. But there PGDM is quite a famous one.
I would suggest you to look at three course structures then decide the university and course.

Hi,
Candidates who have a compartment in a single subject are eligible to apply for admission to Delhi University colleges. But if the candidate has a compartment in the subject in which he is applying for admission, then he/she will not be considered eligible to secure admission in any DU college for that course. Thanks!

All of them are good but according to me RIIM is better amongst all because of its specially designed 2to 3 courses that help you to prepare your self for further competition which you are gonna face. All the certifications are helpful. One of the certificates is from IIM KOZIKODE which simply helps build your CV. In addition to that A visit to IIM for 2 weeks is such a brilliant experience. I got the preferences while applying for Jobs even after several switches I made in my career.
