XIMR does not have its own executive programme. However it is in process of launching one in association with XLRI. Kindly check the XLRI website for additional details.
Ideally, 3-5 years of work experience is preferred for executive programme but the eligibility for the admission process varies from institute. It is also preferred to do an executive programme from a reputed college for greater weightage in your career prospects.
In Bombay, Welingkar, JBIMS and the others offer executive programmes for different specializations and all over India the IIMs among the others offer the same. Kindly narrow down a few colleges you'd like to attend and then follow their admission processes accordingly.

Study and practice are two important tips for distance education entrance test preparation. Study does not mean repetitive learning, but involves reading, understanding, and revision of concepts because these things play a crucial role for your preparation. Sections of quantitative ability, analytical and logical reasoning require practice because one just cannot mug-up these things only daily practice can help in preparing these things. At the same time also devote sufficient time for solving of sample papers and regular revision of study. Further on solve the previous year papers because they are very important in determining your current preparation level.
Last year, the first round cut-off for DEET was 98.5 percent so you should prepare yourself accordingly so that you can score more than that, you can do so by solving various mock papers and sample papers which are available offline as well as online.
