Both courses are very nice. In Engineering, lots of streams are there like ECE, EEE, ME, IT, CSE, which have good opportunities in present situation, as the technology keeps on developing. Try to join in the best college of Engineering, so that one will get better placements. Starting salary may vary from college to college placements and company to company basis, but it would not be less than 20K - 30K. Coming to B.Pharma, it is different side. At present, India is hub for pharma industry, as it is second largest producer of medicines in the world. It would be better if someone who joined in B.pharm also complete his/her MBA or PGDM in premium colleges like XLRI, NMIMs, and IIMs to get very attractive packages in this pharma field. If one is placed in MNC pharma, starting salary would be Rs. 80000 to 1 Lakh, but only with B.pharmacy, no one will get this much salary at starting stages even after 6 years of job joining.

The entrance exam of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) holds one of the top examinations in India. The institute conducts the examination to give admissions in various postgraduate diplomas in journalism like English, Hindi, Oria, Radio and Television, and Advertising and PR.
2. Jamia Milia Islamia University, Delhi
The Jamia Milia Islami's department A.J.K Mass Communication Research Centre conducts the entrance examination for admitting students for full-time Master's degree programme.
3. GGSIPU CET Exam:
The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) for giving admissions to students in various graduate and master courses.
4. Delhi University (BMMMC)
The B.A. (H) Multi-Media and Mass communication (BMMMC) is a self-financed programme which is UGC affiliated, however, runs only by I.P College under the University of Delhi. The entrance exam is conducted in two tiers.

The MGM College of Journalism and Mass Communication conducts their entrance exam to give admission to students in MA/BA and Mass Communication and Journalism programmes.
6. FTII, Pune
The Film and Television Institute of India, Pune is one of the prestigious institutes in India that gives admissions to students in various post graduate courses.
7. AUCET
The Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and Dr. B.R.Ambedkar University, Srikakulam conducts a common admission test for giving admission into post graduate mass communication programmes. The university offers MJMC (Master of Journalism and Mass communication) for 2 years and MS Communication and Media Studies, which is also for 2 years.

The department of electronic media and mass communication of Pondicherry University conducts various master and doctorate programmes for giving admission to students.
9. Aligarh Muslim University Entrance Exam
This university offers varied courses in the department of mass communication. The university conducts written test to give admissions to students in PhD, M.Phil and other post graduate courses.
10. Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
The Banaras Hindu University is one of the oldest institutes across India. The university offers both Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in mass communication.
