If you or your sister have done BA in the year 1989 and have a back log, it seems difficult that you would be able to clear that backlog now as its already been more than 20 yrs so, you have to restart you degree from some open University as doing it through regular you may have some age limit. However, I would also advice you to consult the University from where you were doing your BA i.e. Guru Nanak University.

Before suggesting any course, may i know your area of interest?
And do you want course in parttime/distance/regular mode.
If you are in commerce stream, so i suggest you to go for BBA course. This is complete graduation course with you can take one subject as a specilization.
Or else you can go with some vocation course.

For MBA course, qualification is required your graduation in any stream. And second criteria is your dipolma with your work experience. If you you are fit into this two category, so you are eligible for MBA admission anywhere.
