VFX is commonly abbreviated term used for Visual Effects.It is the process of using computers to either create or manipulate images to create stunning and even unreal effects in a movie shot. Visual effects including Roto, Paint, Cleanup and com-positing.
Skilled VFx professional could scale upto VFx Supervisor and are well paid. One must master both technical and artistic skills. Softwares commonly used are Nuke, Fusion, Mocha, Boujou etc and editing softwares like Premier, Final Cut Studio, Avid etc are also required alongwith Sound editing tools like nuendo, sound forge etc & knowledge of Graphics specially photoshop and animation tools is advantageous & desired.
