I would recommend you to go for MIT Institute of Design. The institute has a decade of education practice. The campus has state of the art infrastructure. The institute's prestigious and highly skilled faculty and staffs provide an outstanding learning environment to the students. MIT's course curriculum is way more advanced than any other institute. It challenges the conventional thinking in designing and stresses the importance of innovation. The college also has international tie ups with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, University of Dundee, Northumbria University and Coventry University. There's no second thought before I write this. Of course, it has to be NID, as it's an institute of national importance. AAFT, on the other hand is a private institute and is known for B.Des as well. NID is best known for design courses, and you will have ample of opportunities after passing out from there. Coming to it's placements, several graduates tend to start their own studio. According to LinkedIn, 377 out of 3500 graduates are Entrepreneurs (Nowhere close to the 60% stat by Sumit Shah, but I hope he can give some source). Popular companies (based on no. Of NIDians employed) are Cognizant, Microsoft, SAP, Adobe, Samsung, Godrej, HFI etc.
All your main/subject questions lead to one destination that is how much money you can earn after graduating from NID. If that is the only concern you have, then start your own business to earn. NID won't teach you how to earn money. You have to use your 100% brains, if you have to be on the top. How NID can help you to put you in good companies? It also depends on the stream you apply for. \
Now look at another scenario. Let's say you love textile design, and you want to apply for Textile/Apparel design at NID, right. What if I tell you that go for some of the UX related courses in NID to get more packages, will you just listen to me and go ahead with it? If yes, then you have got no passion for a particular design rather than earning money. If that is the case, then stop doing it. Have a vision where do you want to be and as a what. You will earn money for sure after graduating from colleges, like NID or IIT that would take some time along with the level of industry experience you have.

The faculty members of every subject range from Average to very good, depending on the luck of the individuals as well (sometimes a class gets better faculty members than others). However, they are all helpful not just regarding the course but also regarding extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. The colleges have a dedicated placement cell which assists the students in procuring internships and job offers. It has a great infrastructure. The labs are high-tech and well-equipped. I have not applied to be placed in any company as I intend to continue my studies further at present. I have heard from friends who have been placed that the companies which come offer good packages.
