HI Sravani, you can slowly start preparing now. Although even if you wait for a year and start preparing i the next year break you would not lose out on anything. IELTS is basically a test of English. It includes modules like Reading (read a passage andanswer questions based on it), Writing (write an essay on the given topic or as described), Speaking (like an extempore, speak on a given topic), listening (a tape is played on and a fill in the blanks kind ofa answer sheet is given to students. You have answer whilelistening to the tape, the tape is not stopped if you miss something, or rewound).

Hi Izabel, agreeing to what educonnect has posted I would like to add that 15 lacs would include the living expenses as well. Not all Universities in UK provide any scholarship or bursaries. Bursaries range from GBP 1000 to GBP 2500. There are some early payment discounts also. But not necessarily offered for this particular course.
There are certain scholarships that you can apply for like : Dr. Manmohan Singh Scholarship, Charles Wallace India Trust, British Chevening Scholarship, Goa Education Trust scholarships, commonwealth scholarships and fellowships.
There are quite a few Indian scholarships that are intended to fund Indian students wiling to study abroad like Inlaks scholarship. But to be able to grab any of these scholarships one should be a bright student and meet the conditions of the grant.
the University may or may not be able to give you scholarships.
