Hi kalpana,
Although it is very difficult to specify any range of the ranks preferred in reference to making it to the selected students, but then as you would know that the institute is one of the well known institutes and as the assumption is to be carried out, I agree with Dr Arora, that the rank required would be about 500 or so, may get lower but not higher than this.
However, you can also inquire with the institute directly as well to inquire about the probability.

to do MCA in delhi You Have to Clear the Entrance of IP University and for Delhi University you have to clear the Entrance of DU. Else Some local private colleges also provide MCA on Direct Basis Which have Seriously no value.
