Yes friend, its courses are DEC approved which means they are approved by AICTE and recognized by UGC too. Also, its one of the best and probably the only university that offer distance learning MBA in core programs. with its well experienced and unique programs, it is able to bring a significant change in its students' careers. So, if you are considering it to your further education, i would say go ahead without a second thought in your mind.

As this time the paper was comparatively easier than last year there is the probability that the scores will shoot up, but as you fall under SC category you will be at advantage few of the B- Schools you may get through are:
SCMHRD
SIIB (IB)
SITM
SCIT (ITBM)

Hi Ankur,
If it is your CAT percentile then I would like to congratulate you on getting a good percentile. Your overall academic records are also good but as far as entry to a top notch B-School is concerned it is very difficult to predict at this juncture as even a difference of one point can change the whole scenario for you. However, few of the institutes which you may consider are: KJ Somaiya, BIM, Fore, UBS, NIRMA, IMI-HR, ITM (Mum), LBS, FMS (BHU)

Hi,
You cannot compare the 2 and see which one is better as both are totally different fields. Finance deals with numbers whereas international business deals in trading. If you want to get into the trading line i.e. imports/exports, i believe you should opt for International Business.
If you are good with numbers and want to make a career in the finance side of management, MBA with finance is a better option for you.
In terms of jobs, the payscale as well as job opportunities are better with a MBA finance degree than a MBA in I.B degree, however, job scenario should not affect your decision.
Hope my answer has solved your query. If it has
