In order to apply for a masters degree in mechanical engineering, you have to take 2 exams i.e. GRE and IELTS. If you want admission in a good institute, you should target a GRE score no less than 1200. In the IELTS, you would be required to score a minimum band score of 6.5 with a minimum score of 6 in each section.
Also, it is highly recommended to have an overall percentage of 75% and above.

Although, Operations and all related fields like Material Management, Logistics, supply chain etc are good for students who are from engineering student but if you have keen interest in Material Management and have good work experience you can opt for MBA in Material Management. You can also try for EMBA programmes as you already have 8 top 10 years of experience. However, you would not find many institutes giving Material Manegment degree programme so you either can opt for Opearations Management or can go for some short duration PGD courses in Material Mangement

So I suggest you pursue Bachelors in India and go abroad for MAsters. As the Masters will be of 1 yr - 2 yrs in duration. Hence, the cost will also be less and you will be able to get loan also.

You can't, I'm afraid. See, after diploma you are not eligible for any central college like IITs, NITs. But, yes in the state colleges where there are seats for LEET, you can get admitted there on the basis of your LEET rank. CHEERS!

If you waste your time thinking you got the good college or not, you are just doing nothing. See, it is a fact that this is your college and you have to do the degree form here. It is a professional course but one may take it as a add on course with your main stream. If you are pursuing a engineering degree in a related field then pursuing Diploma in Fire and Safety will help you but if you considering it to be a career course well there would be lesser career opportunities limiting yourself on Security organizations and disaster management only and that too with limited growth scope. Even the growth of these fields will definitely grow but as of now it is a course that can be used as an add on course to an on pursuing degree.
