Here are some colleges in Kolkata that offer B.Tech programs:
University of Engineering & Management (UEM)

Hello,
After diploma, various career opportunities open for you in government sector or private sector. Some companies prefer to recruit Polytechnic students rather than engineering students. About government sector these are the opportunity available.
Indian railway
BHEL
BEL
NTPC
Power grid
Electricity department
Talking about private sector you can get the job at the companies related to your field and with handsome freshers package. If you are lucky enough then you can also work as lab assistant at college. The opportunities are limited provided the person must be skilled.

You can opt for govt. colleges, either IP or DU but engineering from DU is quiet tough. There are only few seats and if you are from general category, its going to be tough for you.

Hello Debojyoti,
You must congratulate yourself for being in a situation where in you could not get admission in engineering. Recent report say that almost 40% graduates remain jobless after passing out.
You can choose hotel management and catering, commerce, finance or fine arts. Seek to do what passion you have.

Sorry to say, but with only 63 marks in JEE Mains, you are not eligible for any college.
Admission starts with 150+ in JEE Mains for a general category student.
I hope you understand my point.
All the best.

Hello Ananta,
You have scored reasonably good marks in your diploma. However, eligibility criteria differs from state to state. Some states have entrance exam while others give lateral admission based on marks in diploma.
Best wishes.

BBA degree has been chosen by science students, but ultimately it depends on your area of interest. If you see it as a viable career option then please opt for the same.

Hello Dear,
For admission into MBBS in any medical colleges through general category, your score should be around 360. Below this score, it is less predictable that you'll get admission into any medical colleges.
