You cannot apply for a job as secret agent for the Indian government. The Intelligence agencies look out for you. The basic requirement is graduation in any discipline, but they prefer IAS/IPS/IFS officers more than engineering/medical graduates. In fact, the latter are rarely chosen.
So if you seriously want to get into the secret agency of India, start working hard for the civil service exams and develop the following qualities in you:
Ability to stay calm in difficult situationsBe a good leaderBe influentialHave diplomatic skills of talking and communicationKnow foreign languages (the more the better)Not doing drugs/ having addictionsBeing honest to your peopleAbility to work for long hoursKeeping things to yourselfBeing very fit physically and mentally as wellNot having many debtsSaying lies (very important skill you need to improve upon)

We should not compare the two, both the universities are good at their place. But as a student of LPU I would like to tell you Ranking, education, placement, technology and infrastructure in every aspect LPU is better. Ranking: If I talk about ranking so LPU comes under top 100 amongst all private and government university. This year what shook me the most is the recent ranking by the worlds university ranking again amongst all government and private university. Placement: Placement is second most important factor what applicant can SEE in university/college while taking admission. So, in lovely professional university from 100 students 90-95 students get placement. Specifically in B.Tech, the highest salary package was 64lac per annum. In management it was 21lacs per annum. So, in my point of view its great packages as compare to any other university. Infrastructure: There is green areas in the university at so my different areas, classroom with a/c, google lab, IMAC lab, moot court, fine art lab, agriculture farmland, space centre, play grounds, and both girls and boys hostel

My brother has done his graduation in ECE so I would like to share his experience :
LPU always revise its curriculum for all its courses so that the students should be updated according to the latest developments. The faculty members over here are all from all the reputed organisations. Moreover they are either PhD's or pursuing the same. Some of the key highlights of the programme are as follows:

M.Tech Mechatronics or Master of Technology Mechatronics is a postgraduate engineering degree course of 2 years. The subjects taught include topics such as Industrial Management, Mechatronic Systems and its applications, Wireless Communications, Control systems, Signal processing etc. The minimum eligibility criteria for M.Tech. Mechatronics in most universities is that the applicant should have passed B.Sc. /B.E. /B.Tech in relevant subjects with 60% or equivalent CGPA. The eligibility criteria for M.Tech Mechatronics Engineering aspirants is not complicated and is as follows. It must be noted that the eligibility criteria will differ from institute to institute. B.Sc. /B.E. /B.Tech. In relevant subject with 60% or equivalent CGPA
Some of the very renowned universities and colleges conduct an entrance examination for admission. 5% -10% relief for the reserved category like SC/ST/OBC students.
