Concentrating on part time job while studying will divert you from studies. As you have told you are an average student, concentrate on your studies. Because class 12th is the one which coins your career. It is a gateway and if u mishandle it, it will lead you in a wrong way.

Without completing your higher secondary, it would not be possible to do graduation. Even for Diploma courses you at least need to have 10+2. The shortest program which you can have in journalism would be of one year, and for this you would require to have 10+2 at least.
