Hi Lekh, as you aspire to study MBA, one of the well liked and most preferred career options by today's generation due to the variety of scope. Being a business oriented program, it will be of good help for students who wish to work with the business sector.
There is no age limit to pursue MBA. But the only barrier in achieving your MBA dream is your graduation. The basic eligibility criteria for MBA is graduation with more than 55 percent marks in any discipline from recognized university. Students will have to write an entrance exam such as MAT/CAT/XAT or ATMA to get admitted into this course.
Also, as you are working since past 6 years, I would suggest you not to leave your job and join part-time integrated course (graduation + MBA). Job experience will add up as an asset to your MBA learning.

Hi Venkatesh, for your query, I would advise you to contact international schools like DPS International, Ryan International School, Bluebells School International, Genesis Global School, Starex International School, etc where the medium of education is accepted as English although these different schools follow different examination systems and boards.
But being in India they have to adhere to certain requirements of the Indian national system irrespective of the examination system adopted by them. Most of the international schools opt for the I B Board or the (International Baccalaureate). However there are other examination systems like the GCSE and GCE examination systems.

Hi, First of all great to know that despite being from engineering background you want to go for Civil Services. Keep it up.
Talking about the Examination pattern there would be two papers in prelims- Reasoning Aptitude and English Comprehension followed by the main exam that would entirely be subjective. For details check www.upsc.gov.in

Eligibility Conditions
(i) Nationality:
1) For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India.
(ii) Minimum Educational Qualifications :
The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.
(iii) Age limit :
21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs. Ex-servicemen will get 5 more years exemption from the prescribed age limit.
(iv) Number of Attempts:
Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even in one paper is counted as an attempt.
(v) Restrictions on applying for the examination:
A candidate who is appointed to the Indian Administrative Service or the Indian Foreign Service on the results of an earlier examination and continues to be a member of that service will not be eligible to compete at this

2. Admission Process
a. Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates and admission of such candidates will be made on the merit in GATE.
b. Non GATE qualified candidates will be selected based on the merit in an entrance test.
c. Candidates with atleast 60 percent marks or equivalent at graduation level in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent would be eligible.
