Hi,
Yes, there are high chances for getting seat at SSN College of Engineering with a cut off of 198. Even if you belong to general category, you can get it. If you belong to some other category then you can surely get it.

I admit that marks never justify your talent. But, it definitely shows your interest in science. PCM in 10+2 level is not too easy. Even many bright (with higher percentages) feel these subjects are tough to understand. I personally suggest you to go for commerce.

Different states have different procedures for admission. In some cases it's centralised and computer based where marks are normalised. In some states you have to apply directly to college.
