Core opportunities are very less in the college, if you want to pursue further studies in research, then you would have to try hard, learn in deep and not depend on college in any case. ECE course is old therefore to get practical approach in order to do internship, you can learn beyond your syllabus to get an edge over others. Also, finding internship is also your duty, college faculty can help in learning, but you need to have interest in the subject.
