Although, the certifications like CFP, CFA etc. do give a boost to your career if you want to get into finance domain but I would say if you have an excellent academic record you should opt for MBA in finance as this is a powerful employment credential, and can assist the student in receiving best career opportunities. I would like to add here that if you plan to go for an MBA opt for a full time program from a decent Management Institute like IIMs, MDI, XLRI etc. if you can not do it from the top notch institutes then you can opt for CFA certification.
