Hi,
for PhD I would like to confirm that you are interested in Canada for that. Well in Canada it is very tough to do PhD as iot will require a work exp of at least 6-7 yrs in your related field after completing your masters. then you will be required to submit a research proposal. This you have to send to the respective university along with your other academic documents.
The intake really depends.well for almost all the universities the intake is September each year. For the notification you can look on the website of different universities. To make it easy if you can let me know which subject you wish to take up for your PhD will make the search a little easy.

All India Entrance Examination for Design
ARCH invites applications for its entrance exam (AIEED) to its various undergraduate programs, for the academic year 2011-12.
Eligibility for undergraduate level programs in Design
Candidates who have appeared for or cleared 10 + 2 (CBSE / ICSE / IB / State Board / NIOS or equivalent as per UGC guidelines)
10+1 students can also apply*
*Students qualifying in AIEED 2011-12 will be eligible for AIEED 2012-13s Situation Test/ Interview.
Two choices for appearing for AIEED:
1. Centre-based Entrance Examination
2. Online Entrance Examination

Hi Preeti, the requirement of a work experience is not mentioned as the entry requirement. And if you satisfy all the other criteria mentioned then it will not be necessary. But if you read one of the clause carefully it says international students will be assessed on case to case basis. Hence, if your qualifications fall short9in my opinion) it is better to have work experience so that it can be compensated, as work experience is always given weightage.
Although this should not hold you back from applying. do apply and check.

Hi Preet, a student can apply for both the courses without work experience. But Master of Professional Business Studies requires a 4 year degree. If a student does not have it then they are required to have an additional degree like a grad dip or a pgdip.
For Master of Business students are expected to have similar background and for international students the admission is on a case to case basis.
AUT being a University of high repute, to enhance chances of admission it is recommended to have experience. Although you can apply and try.
Additionally, you will be required to appear for IELTS.
