I don't think that this rank is sufficient for your admission. Try for any other private college or wait for the counselling of WBJEE. May be you have to compromise with your branch. It means you may not get your desired branch but if you want to go in a good college with good branch, then you can drop a year too. Just give your best shot.
Best of luck.

Your chances to get a student visa for doing PG in SCM or IB do not depend on the type of degree. If you get admission in a recognized University or B-School and meet other visa eligibility criteria you will get a student visa to do a degree.

There is no compulsion for you to sit for JEE Advanced. You can attempt only for AAT to get a seat into one of the IITs for B.Arch. You should have cleared your JEE paper 2 and have a percentage of at least 75% in your 12th.

This is an average score. Hence, it is difficult to get admission among the top colleges of your state. You can apply in some private college. Their criteria and eligibility is generally a bit lenient.
Also, if you apply in sort some of a quota that might help you. For example, you can apply for sports quota, if you are a national or state level athlete.

Based on your ranks—5135 in Stream 1 and 4935 in Stream 2—and an IPE score of 972 from Andhra Pradesh, your chances of securing admission to SASTRA University's B.Tech programs in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Civil Engineering are moderate.

SASTRA University allocates 70% of its B.Tech seats through Stream 1, which considers both JEE Main scores and 10+2 marks, and the remaining 30% through Stream 2, based solely on 10+2 marks.

Hello Aakanksha,
To get admission in top universities/colleges in India other than IITs and NITs, you need to crack the respective entrance exams like BITSAT, VITEEE, SRM JEE, MOUET, AEEE, etc.
These are some of the national level exams for which students aspire. If you have 90% or above in board exams, then some universities like LPU, Amity University, etc. admit students without entrance exams.
Some universities like SASTRA University takes admission based on board exam marks and also, with JEE Mains marks but it doesn't come under the counselling of JEE.
