Yes, your rank seems quite sufficient enough to get a seat into IPU for biotechnology. Moreover, your home state quota will help you a lot. So, go for the counseling till last rounds.
Hope this was helpful. Good luck!

Instead of B.Sc IT try for B.Sc Computer Science or B.Sc Computer Application. They have better scope in the market. In Pune many colleges offer these courses, Fergusson College is one of the best to offer B.Sc in Computer Science, Wadia College , Modern College are few that you can try.

Sorry to say but your rank is too high for computer science and IT cut-off.
If your rank had been under 800, then there were chances of getting CSE and under 1200, you might get IT but at this rank it is very difficult to grab these two branches.
I hope you understand my point.

There isn't any relation among 12th marks and B.Com subject as you should also know it, then why are you thinking of so? If you have more marks in 12th you may repeat just like class improvement. Go through the subjects and your interest.

It depends on what you like and want to study further. Both of these degrees have a large variety of specializations and which to choose amongst them depends on personal interest. Maintaining good grades is essential to build a strong career.

IPU intakes students on the basis of merit list of IPU-CET. They do not consider the marks of JEE Mains. So, you'll have to try for other colleges. Your mains score is quite good so you can try for other good colleges. Try for NITs and IIITS.
Good luck.

That is based on your interest solely. I would suggest NSIT CSE as IIT Bhubaneswar is a new IIT and textile at IIT Delhi would not get that many placements in the sector. If you want a well-established college culture and willing to discover your interests, go for IIT Delhi. But know this, that you will have to make your own way, be it coding or any other job.

Hello Rajat,
It is impossible to get a college like NITs, IIITs, etc. through JEE Mains counselling with a rank of 305055. Even your category rank should have gone below (if applicable).
so you may try the colleges that accept JEE main marks and board exam scores for admission or a better one with your board exam scores.
