I am going to assume that you belong to the general category. As for the home state quota, if you belong to HP, you can get admission into CSE, ECE, Mechanical, EEE, Civil and Chemical branches at NIT Hamirpur, but can not get admission into PEC. If you belong to any other state, you can get admission into Civil and Chemical at NIT Hamirpur, however if you belong to Chandigarh, you can get admission into Aerospace, Civil, Electrical, Metallurgical, Mechanical and Production & Industrial Engineering at PEC. If you do not belong to Chandigarh, you can still get admission into all those branches, but by a small margin for the Mechanical E

The reality of Lovely Professional University for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is that it offers a large campus, modern infrastructure, and many learning opportunities, but the results depend a lot on how much effort a student puts in. The university organizes coding labs, hackathons, internships, and technical workshops where students can work on real projects and improve their programming skills.

Regarding placements, LPU conducts large campus placement drives where many IT companies recruit students for software roles. Recruiters such as AmazonCapgemini, and Cognizant regularly hire fro

The placements are very low. Only a few students get campus placements. But as far as other courses are concerned, placements are very good. Law college is not old, that's why they have such low placements and job opportunities.

Generally, it depends on the fact that how strong are your basics I.e till 10th. Mathematics and all.
If that's fine and you believe you are strong in basics.
You can have some time for you.
Else, it is suggested that you may join in the first year itself.
mostly students tend to join it by the end of 2nd year or 3rd year starting.
Anyway. there no set rule for this.
But it is good that you join it.
The earlier the better.

Hello Akshay,
For B Tech in food technology, if the eligibility prescribed calls for biology in 12th then perhaps no institute can legally give you admission. If not then you better start thinking of some other branch that interests you.

Hi Ramachandran,
Yes, you can. Take your IELTS or TOEFL. Admissions in Canadian universities for Masters will be very competitive, check the university websites for the entry requirements before applying. If you are applying to UK check if its one year or two year program. one year Masters degree from UK are not recognised in India and getting a job in UK is tough. Check countries like Australia, New Zealand also. Australia also has a good market for civil engineers.

TIT is a better college if you really want to learn something, as well as the faculty of this college is good, but one thing which is more famous about it is its discipline and the management is working like a school, it is so much strict, as you have to enter and exit at proper time between it you cannot skip or bunk any class or lecture.
Also, placement is much better than CDGI.
