Anna University is a reputed institution for engineering and the other courses. As you have asked for Kumaraguru, Coimbatore let me tell you about it.
Kumaraguru is a good university for engineering. It is affiliated to Anna University and so you need to get admission by applying for single window counselling under Anna University.
If your cut off is good like 195 and above (for OC) then you can get admission.
The placements are also good for aeronautical engineering at Kumaraguru.

You can not get admission only on marks of 12th. You have to appear for entrance exam prescribed by your state govt. In your case JEE Mains. But why this obsession with engineering? Please think of commerce or humanities.
