There is no doubt that both of these courses are the best for your future, but these are totally apart from the each other, and if you prepare both, then it will pose difficulty for you and you can't become a topper in both of these and will only remain as an average student.

Python is not sufficient to make a career in AI and ML. It is just the beginning. You need to figure out the objective of being in this field and then start making a career path. To give you a just overview, after Python (R is also preferred), go through the core concepts of Maths. It helps a lot in AI. If you are doing engineering (CS/IT/ECE), you must be knowing about the technicalities behind this, like NLP, Deep Learning, Decision Tree, Stochastic Models, etc. You can start learning ML.

According to the best of my knowledge, I would like to suggest you that both BBA and B.Com have their own merits. It depends entirely on your interest before choosing either of the courses. If making a career in management is your priority, then you should go for BBA as it is the foundation of management and has been specifically designed for MBA aspirants. B.Com on the other hand, is much more diversified and has a wider scope for specialization for post-graduate study. This would depend on her interest areas and career aspirations. In case she intends to pursue a career in Technical / research / academics area then M.Tech/ MS ( IT) is better, However if you want to move into general management the MBA is better.
