I am afraid that this university does not offer any M.Phil course in distance education mode. There are 32 different courses offered by this university under distance education mode, but unfortunately M.Phil is not one of these. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information.

Python is not sufficient to make a career in AI and ML. It is just the beginning. You need to figure out the objective of being in this field and then start making a career path. To give you a just overview, after Python (R is also preferred), go through the core concepts of Maths. It helps a lot in AI. If you are doing engineering (CS/IT/ECE), you must be knowing about the technicalities behind this, like NLP, Deep Learning, Decision Tree, Stochastic Models, etc. You can start learning ML.
