US is one of the few countries which offers quality world class education at undergraduate, post graduate and research level. There are many top ranking and good universities which offers variety of courses at different levels.In order to pursue UG and PG course in US universities you need to have:
Good academic background throughout, preferably 60%, relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university.GRE score of 1100 plus for PG and SAT score of 1700 plus for UG, plus university require TOEFL score of 80-90 plus for both UG and PG level. Universities in US has 2 admission intake i.e Fall(August) and Spring(January) intake.
An average tuition fee of a US university is about US$ 30,000 per-year and average living expenses are about US$ 10,000 per-year.

There is no such authentic list of institutes that i can give you. You could do well to create a list of places you may want to learn at, whether they are in your city or not. Then go to their websites and research about them, and even call them and talk to them. Try their website for more details. Typically go for a school which offers all the information including faculty on their website. Now shortlist some you want to visit. Do not hesitate to travel - this is about your life and career.
