Gujarat University does not seem to offer any such courses in Animation and Multimedia but then you can always refer to the other institutes that does offer these courses like NID, IDC IIT , BIT Mesra, MAAC, Picasso, Gecko and many more.

There are many institutes in Uttar Pradesh which offers M.Tech and usually the Institutes require you to qualify test conducted by the UPTU and not GATE.

As shiksha is an Education portal which believes in giving unbiased guidance it would be unfair on my part to give my personal opinion or judgment on any particular Institute. However, IILM would have better placements than any other Institute as IILM Gurgaon & Gtr. Noida has the same companies coming on their campus as IILM Lodhi rd.
I would like to add here that job placements are not entirely dependent on the Institute. More than the Institute it would depend on the individuals performance on the programme, his/her capabilities, & how you use your knowledge earned at the time of job placements.

Dear, why do you want to go out of India when you have IIT's here. Prepare for it and get finest and the best IIT for you if you have potentiality, you can get better opportunities from India. Moreover here are BITS Pilani and Petroleum Univ. Doon too. There is avg. package is 25 lac pa.

It is kind of difficult to secure an admission opportunity on the basis of the marks that you have scored in GATE. But don't lose confidence, you can either look for the institutes accepting a valid score and provide with a direct seat else you can give another chance and opt for other entrances along with GATE.
