The university offers B.Tech. (Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme which gives its graduates a competitive edge through robust curriculum and hands-on learning in niche technologies to develop competence which caters to the requirements of the industry. It primarily deals with the development and designing of computer software and hardware processes with strong focus on algorithms, programming languages, programme design etc.

The eligibility criteria is -

Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject.

The programme fees per semester is 140000 INR, without any scholarship . You need to qualify test for admission and fees will be removed after that . After qualify test, you can get upto 60% scholarship in programme fees that will remain applicable till the duration of course. Apart from this, the programme specific outcomes are as follows -

Apply acquired skills in software engineering, networking, security, databases, intelligent systems, cloud computing and operating systems to adapt and deploy innovative software solutions for diverse applications.
Apply diverse IT skills to design, develop, and evaluate innovative solutions for business environments, considering risks, and utilizing interdisciplinary knowledge for efficient real-time projects benefiting society.

Genetics is theoretical part and applied genetics is practical.
