Well DU is one of the finest universities of India and has a lot of value. Though looking at the present scenario, regular degree is much more preferred over correspondence. But jobs usually matter more on your expertise and your performance in the interview.
Your degree just gives a snapshot of what you posses; but what matters more is how you use the knowledge that you have acquired in your graduation.
So if you are really interested in pursuing B.Com from school of open learning, then you should go ahead with it.
Along with your graduation, you can go for a short term course in Accounts, Financial Management, treasury Management etc.

For FTII, Pune You have to crack the Entrance Examination.the Entrance Examination for all the courses are held in May-june at the following centers:
Agartala, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Banglore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Deharadun, Gangtok, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, and Thiruvananthapuram.
The prospectus containing the application form and other details may be obtained on request along with a demand draft of Rs. 2150/- for General Category and Rs. 650/- for SC, ST and Economically Backward candidates (Parents should be BPL card holders) drawn on any of the Nationalised Banks in favour of "Accounts Officer, Film and Television Institute of India," payable at Pune.
