Hi Sangita.
To guide you is that your daughter has to complete X then she can join colleges in the country which has pre university or intermediate. It is your daughter to decide what courses she wants to do. She needs to get good marks to secure a good admission. When getting into these colleges remember a migration certificate is also needed.

Yes, provided you fulfill the following criteria
Eligibility
Applicants should have at least a three-year bachelor's degree in any discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with a minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/DA) or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates appearing for the final year graduation examination are also eligible to apply provided they complete it before June 30, 2012 and fulfill the eligibility criteria as set by IIFM.

There is a component of statistics which fetches 40-50 marks. Despite being weak in maths you will have to develop expertise to deal with this section. Rest you can manage without maths.

charan. it is a bad score for ielts. sorry. if i offend you. dear i suggest you to retake your ielts . score atleast. 7 in all and 7.5 in total.and apply to the best candian or american univ's. at 6 bands too you can apply. but just think why would univs' give imp to your application. when there would applicants with better ielts score. and a gre or gmat score too. tell me in detail. what prog do you want to go for.

Most of the universities in the USA requires 16 years of education, GMAT score and relevant work experience.
However there are very few universities in USA which accepts 15 years of education.
They are:
Hamline University.
City University Seattle.
For detailed information please visit the university website.
Hult International Business school offers special program called MIB,for the students having no work experience and has 15 years of Education.

For prelims now there are two common papers. One is general studies comprising History, Geography, Economy, Civics, Polity < current affairs etc. The other paper in relims is CSAT which is normally on the pattern of MBA entrance test. For mains you have to select 2 optionals. Some of the optional frequently choosen by engineers are Physics, Maths, Geography, Public Administration, Anthropology, engineering etc.
