Hi Anchal,
As rightly suggested by Suryap, while choosing the specialization the most important things that you should keep in mind, is your own interests and career aspirations. Marketing can be good for People with good communication skills, leadership qualities and who like traveling a lot. HR is for people who have great people's skills. It also involves lots of paper work and training & development. So depending on the area of your passion you can choose your specialization.

Hi Anchal,
Although, DBS has decent placements but getting a good job placements would not only depend on the kind of companies the institute is inviting on campus but to a great extent it would depend on your own caliber, performance on the programme and how you use the knowledge earned at the time of placement interviews.

Hi Anchal,
Yes, you can opt for dual specialization, but do keep in mind that choose dual specialization only if you can do justice to both the specialization. However, Dual Specialization is a good option as it gives you wider scope for job opportunities, in two different field.
Thanks,
Pooja

Hi Ankit,
As Shiksha is an Education portal which believes in giving unbiased guidance it would be unfair on my part to give my personal opinion on any two Institutes. However, ICFAI Business School definitely has a better market standing than Vivekananda.
I would like to add here that to know the quality of Education provided by the institute, you should personally visit the Institute and should take the first hand information by interacting with the faculty and the current batch students out there. If possible also try and take feedback of the alumnae.
Hope this resolves your query. Feel free to put up more queries In case your query is

However, there are some private Institutes like IIPM who have admission open all through the year, so depending on the kind of Institute you want to get in the a

I think you should opt for a job first and then, after gaining 2 to 3 years of experience, you can go for any related course that can give you a leverage in your job.
