There are lot of private colleges, which offer engineering even though you have less marks. Opting for engineering in local colleges is not worthy. Try to get into any Polytechnic, and then try for best engineering colleges through lateral entry scheme. After completing your Diploma, you can pursue Bachelor of engineering or Bachelor of technology by applying through lateral entry scheme. Ofcourse Canada is better, but admissions are very competitive. Canada has some of the top business schools like UBC, University of Toronto, York University etc. Poland on the other hand is less competitive and not as popular as Canada for MBA. It is also cheaper.

If you apply under SPP, they accepts not more than 8 backlogs. For non SPP colleges 55% marks is not easily acceptable. You can email some colleges and get in touch with the college representatives and see what you can do.

Welingkar B-School does not accept MAT exam. The cutoff this year has gone around 98 percentile of MHCET exam. You have to score around 93 percentile in CAT, XAT, CMAT or ATMA to get admission for PGDM in Welingkar. The fees for MMS is lower than PGDM courses in Welingkar.
