Hi there,
University of Mumbai is a good university but it does not have all affiliated colleges which could be said to be good in terms of Law. For instance GLC is a good law college amongst others. But not every college is a good college in terms of law. However, Symbiosis law school would be a particular choice of college and you can expect a very good career while on campus owing to its good placement opportunities. Also, it has been a known name in terms of law for decades and is much preferred private institute for Law in that region.
So, between the University of Mumbai and Symbiosis Pune the latter would be a good preference prov

Getting an internship at a top firm does help future prospects. That being said, there is absolutely nothing that hard-work and perseverance cannot make up for. Apart from internships, taking part in moot courts, being actively involved in other co-curricular activities can help a long way in building a good CV. Don't be disheartened if you are not able to secure an internship in a top firm. Consider this as an opportunity to grow. Also, know that the smaller the firm, the more the work and the responsibility is likely to be given to you. A rigorous internship with good work being allotted to interns can make up for the tag of a top la

I would suggest you to opt for SVKM.
My reason is first, the college is located in Mumbai so your chances for internship and exposure is higher in this case. Plus, being a private college in Mumbai, they can call good firms, corporate houses, companies, etc. for recruitments thus giving better placements.
Also, being one of the best private Universities in India, they have good faculty, infrastructure, everything.
The reviews that I got from students studying there is good.
With NUSRL, the issue is the location. Although Ranchi is a developing city, still.
Just because of the NLU tag, one should not opt for a college as regarding exposure a

Unfortunately, you cannot get a 'good' college with a poor CLAT score if you are only looking at colleges where admission is through CLAT. To cast a safety net, it is advisable you site for entrances of other private colleges (like Amity, Jindal, etc. ). As well in order to secure admission in a good college.

Well this a mistaken idea that majority of law colleges are located in U.P. U.P, being a huge state, it has an advantage of having a number of institutes owing to available land. As there are many states which has a number of law schools for example Gujarat apart from GNLU, has Siddhartha Law college, Auro University Of Law, Institute of Law, Nirma University, United Global World School Of Law, RN Patel school of Law and many more. Thus, it is not the case that UP has majority of law schools as every state has a number of Law schools and universities.
U.P has RMLNLU, Amity University, BHU amongst top and not much Law schools are there c

Moot Courts are, in simple terms, mock courts that are usually a part of the curriculum of a college. The students are given a fictitious problem (the 'case') and they have to prepare arguments from both the sides of the case, I. e. for both the parties. A usual team comprises of three people - two speakers (who argue) and one researcher (who looks for case laws to support your argument, legislation involved, etc. ). Advantages of taking part in a Moot Court:
1. One develops the art of analytical thinking.
2. The experience of presenting your arguments, the practical aspect of litigation, is a good learning experience.
3. National and I

Forensic Pharmacy has a great future ahead. But in India, Pharmacy related evidence and all are comes under Toxicology department. There is only less college offering pharmacy as a specialisation of Forensic Science. So, if you are really interested in this stream, go for M.Sc. Forensic Science and take Toxicology as specialisation.

Law is a very pragmatic field and it is advisable to attend regular college. While pursuing an LL.B. It is very important to be a part of the classroom discussion and to actively participate in the teaching process. Further, the moot court exercises, the debates, and other extra-curricular activities help in the over-all development of a student, which will definitely help them later. However, if the online/long-distance programme in NOT LL.B. But a Diploma or Certificate Course, it is a decent option. A lot of these programs are conducted only online, even by reputed National Law Universities.

Well, you may have a distance learning course along with a regular graduation, as the distance course in law anyways is not recognized as such and it serves only on paper and, thus makes no difference as such.
Also, the requirements for a distance course in law need to be seen before enrolling, as sometimes you are not allowed to take a regular course simultaneously.
Generally, you may pursue one, but keep in mind that it is not going to fetch you anything. While in India, as the Bar Council of India doesn't recognize it and so does the UGC, therefore it is of no use, when it does not have any practical implications for you.
So, I would a

Hi,
Both the law colleges that you mentioned are good but if you ask for the better one my suggestion would be D.Y. Patil School of law over Siddharth Law College.
This is because D.Y Patil School of Law has a very good campus with a very good faculty and also the academic activities conducted at this law school are said to be better than that in Siddharth Law college.
D.Y. Patil also has a very well maintained library with a very good number of books which prove to be very helpful for the students.
On the other hand, Siddharth Law College has a less rating as compared to D.Y Patil Law College.
Moreover D.Y. Patil Law College has been rat

Hard work perseverance while you do your LLB degree. Being active with extracurricular activity like Moot Court, participating in debate society, attending various seminars, attending legal workshop, being active with your legal aid programme within college, makes you more open as a person and you attain qualities like your communication skills, which is a must in a lawyer. Secondly, you must be good with your law, but one can't ignore the academics. Doing lots of internship with your law degree to know practical knowledge of law is best. Being in above frame, nobody can stop you from achieving success or getting good placement in any
