Mathematics is a basic subject that is taught from elementary levels in schools, initially it deals in numbers and basic operations are taught to kids so as to be able to deal with real life situations such as counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Later in depth knowledge of the subject is given to students, which introduces algebra, geometry, calculus, and finally statistics.
Mathematics is an academic discipline that allows one to understand the concepts of quantity and structures.
Whereas Statistics is that branch of mathematics that deals in probability, graphical representation of mathematical data, and interpretation of uncertain observation that is not possible with formulae and principles of mathematics.
Statistics is mainly concerned with collection, analysis, explanation, and presentation of data. It also helps in forecasting and predicting results based upon insufficient data.
Statistics finds applications in a wide variety of fields such as social sciences, governmental departments, businesses, investment practices, and stock markets besides helping those involved in betting. Statistics can improve the quality of any data and make interpretations from it easy.

To be honest, with B.COM under your belt, you are not eligible for M.A English. As you say you already into N T T, I would say that as a nursery teacher you would:
Help children's social, personal, physical and emotional development
Develop their language, literacy and numeracy skills
Help them achieve the early learning goals of the National Curriculum
Encourage co-operation and good behavior
Talk to parents or carers about their children's development
Set out activities before classes and tidy up afterwards
As far as learning English is concerned, I may suggest you with the following options:-
Speak without Fear:- Learning English requires practice. Don't let a little fear stop you from getting what you want.
Use all of your Resources:- Using as many different sources, methods and tools as possible, will allow you to learn faster.
Surround Yourself with English:- Take notes in English, put English books around your room, listen to English language radio broadcasts, watch English news, movies and television.
Listen to English Music & Watch Movies:- You can expand your vocabulary and hear the flow of speech from the actors. If you listen to the news you can also hear different accents.
Study As Often As Possible:- Only by studying things like grammar and vocabulary and doing exercises, can you really improve your knowledge of any language.
Do Exercises and Take Tests:- If you never test yourself, you will never know how much you are progressing. Start now by doing some of the many exercises and tests.
Record Yourself:- Nobody likes to hear their own voice on tape but like tests, it is good to compare your tapes from time to time.
Make a time plan and follow it strictly without any failure. Don't take it as a stress rather find enjoyment and fun while learning the language.
