Both the options are good but will entirely depend on your area of interest and your career aspirations. If you are keen to pursue a career in engineering and technology field, then opting for B.tech through lateral entry is way to go. But before you take this step, do keep in mind that you will be investing another 3 years for a bachelor degree and will later have to pursue Masters, as and when required.
On the other hand, if you are keen to pursue a career in the management field, then you should look for the MBA course. Firstly you have not mentioned anything regarding the exam that you plan to give, but assuming that you must be inquiring about the M.tech entrances, there are many depending on the institute's admission criteria.
Yet the most common aspects for qualifying an entrance is preparing well for the entrance that is from getting entire study material, maintaining time management, defining a proper study pattern etc.
You can also look for a good coaching institute, being GATE a premier and competitive entrance most of the institutes teach on the pattern required for the GATE. Link to refer:

It seems that IACT is an autonomous institute offering online distance and class room mode. If you go through their contact details (http://iactglobal.com/contact.aspx) you may find that other than their corporate office, other offices are located in some restaurants or hotels. There are some robotics training institutes in our country that offer training programmes in various professional colleges. They seem to use the banner of some IITs like IIT Mumbai, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur etc. It seems that they may be offering a course ware designed by the faculty of IITs or they may be alumni of IITs engaged in their business. They may have some royalty arrangements with the foresaid institutes, but god knows whether some of them are virtual offices only with in the domain of the world wide web. ! Any way they are private institutes just like our computer centres. One can only make guesses but the exact details can be had from the alumni of such institutes. .In case you have slightest amount of doubt you may rethink your educational plans. But if you can get in touch with some of their alumni, they may be able to give a better advice.
