I would suggest you go for a Masters degree course in interior designing instead of looking out for a one year program. A degree has a better value and you will get a better job after completing it.

There are people even with average academic scores making it to the coveted IIMs. So if they can, you can too. Just focus on preparing well for the particular entrance exams and clear the necessary cutoffs to get an interview call(s) from the B-school. There is a book called GATE MECHANICAL which consists of all the fundamental of all the subjects.
I personally feel that the book is more than sufficient for cracking the exam. It costs around 800 INR.
