Hi,
It totally depends on the company that you get employed with. The company grants a work permit on the basis of which a work visa is issued. You can get a work permit upto 3 years depending on your performance at the university and your contract with your employer. On an average, 1 year work permit is usually issued to a candidate. Like i said, it depends on the company you are employed with.

read the daily newspaper in front of mirror loudly. record ur reading and then play in your mobile otr cd system. correct it as though you are an examiner and the voice is of a student. then u'll know ur mistakes. start writing passages on your own and correct it. then learn at least 10-20 words as per your speed from a proper dictionary and try to use them in given opportunity.also tune in to good news channels in English news time
