There are many institutes which take GATE score to pursue M.Tech and there are other institutes as well which may accept non GATE entrance scores as well and believing that you may score less, you can look for the other entrances as the option as well.
As for the 100% placement is concerned, most of the institutes do offer the assistance for this purpose but then the assurance is laid by the student's academic record and his/ her performance.
