Hi, Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is a common admission test for selecting candidates for various branches of Indian Air Force.
A written examination, interview, screening and medical test is conducted by the IAF for selecting the eligible candidates.
AFCAT is conducted for the courses like Flying Branch for men and women, SSC for men and women, Ground Duty Officers Permanent Commission for men etc.
The written test includes :
General Awareness,
English knowledge,
Numerical Ability,
Military Aptitude etc.
To prepare for AFCAT, the preparation requires the right approach along with the right study materials and strategy. The preparation requires focused study rather than plain hard work.
There are different books available in book stores across India.
AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) by RPH Editorial Board is one of the books one can refer to. Other than that you may even refer books for other entrance exams like bank PO, CAT etc.
Previous question papers and other study materials are also available in the internet and one must make use of the same.
To ace the exam, you must develop good knowledge in each areas specified in the syllabus. You need to work and improve general awareness by reading newspapers and watching TV news. Proper time management skill should be maintained. The students have to practice well for answering the questions.

Hi Aadil, There are three levels of ICWAI qualification course.
1. Foundation Course :
You can apply for the Foundation course after completing 12th (Age >/= 17 years).
2. Intermediate Course :
You can apply for the intermediate course after qualifying the Foundation course
OR
after completing graduation (other than fine arts).
3. Final Course :
You can apply for this course after qualifying the Intermediate course
As you are a graduate, you can directly apply for Intermediate Level exam without
having qualified Foundation course.
DURATION of the Course :
Foundation course : 10 months
Intermediate course : 1 year
Final level : 10 months
All the examinations are held twice a year. One in June and another in December.
The Total Fees :
Foundation level : around Rs. 10,000/-
Intermediate level : Rs.34,250/-
Final level : Rs.34,050/-

Electronics and IT has many Overlapping subjects . You need to check the eligibility requirements stated by the recruiters .Unlike Software Companies and MNCs the RnD organizations like ISRO and DRDO normally requires positions very much specific to the engineering branches you need to check the requirements clearly . If you are interested in Electronics I would suggest prepare well for GATE and go for specialization like VLSI , Microelectronics , Instrumentation or embedded system from their you will have easier way to Join ISRO or DRDO . You can also opt for CDAC for that matter . I would suggest you should prepare well for positions related to CS as many areas of CS has overlapping sections with Electronics.

Group discussion and personal interview are one of the important eligibility criteria to get admission in MBA.
In group discussion, mostly the current topics are discussed so it would be advisable for you to keep track of all the current affairs, by reading news papers and magazines.
For interview you it would be advisable to appear for mock interviews and for this you can take help of your friends or relative who are working.
You can also get in touch with some students who are pursuing MBA, you can take their feed back regarding GD and PI.
So please don't be stress full, just read current affair magazines and newspaper to keep track of all the current affairs, this exercise would surely help you to do well in GD and PI.

As you are interested in pursuing your MS in Mechanical from Germany, I would like to say that Germany is very much known for its technological advancements. Few good universities that you can look for are
Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen,
RWTH Aachen University,
Esslingen University of Applied Sciences,
University of Applied Sciences Ingolstadt /
University of Applied Sciences Landshut,
etc.
Most of the universities have English as the medium of teaching.
For admission you might have to give GRE and IELTS / TOEFL.
Also education in Germany is government funded, there is a possibility that you might have to pay a minimal fee ranging from euro 140-500.
For more information on German Universities, I would request you to visit the nearest DAAD office. DAAD is officially authorized to provide information about education in Germany. They have offices in major cities in India.
If possible go for a German language course as it will help you find a part time job. A student in Germany can work 90 full days or 180 half days.

I would suggest you to prepare a well sound study plan and follow the same strictly. You can refer the text books in your plus two. You can refer the previous year papers of the examination which can be purchased from the book stores and also available online. The mock test and the model question will help you to understand the structure and nature of the examination. Practice well before taking the examination. As for the syllabus, I would say that includes Basic Engineering and Technology, Principles of Biochemical Engineering, Industrial Pharmacy,Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, Life sciences, Computer application and Information sciences.
