There are several colleges under IPU, depending on the field you choose the reputation would vary. Moreover, there are no neutral public ranking of the Institutes under IPU on the basis of whivh we could suggest the best ones. In case you have a specific college of which you need to know the reputation then do revert back, as I might be in a position to explaing you about that particular college

IIPM is not approved by AICTE. ask anyone here on shiksha. they will tell you. instead of taking admission in this college, better through money in the well or donate.

i agree with kankshi- u will need to provide documentry evidence of what u have been doing for the 2 years (studying, working etc). if u have not been doing anything, things might get a bit difficult.

As your rank is not pretty good, you may get admission but not in the top rung Institutes, check with the Sri Sukhmani Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Shaheed Udham Singh College Of Engineering And Technology, Sant Longowal Institute Of Engineering And Technology etc.

Hi Jay, I would say all 3 are equally good. What is your percentage in UG and which University have you passed out from?
All 3 would have fee on the similar scale and rankings are also on the similar lines.
Placement wise : The Universities abroad provide assistance to find a job but there are no campus placements like we have in India. You get assistance from the career and placement cell to prepare your CV, they help you prepare for the interview, and also inform you of the vacancies in the vicinity. You will need to make good use of the facilities and opportunities provided.
