Yes its good.but you should look for civil engg, ME , ECE, CSE as there are more job opportunities there. you can also try in NIT's, BITs, Lovely Professional University.

I would suggest you go for admission in a stream of your choice and not waste a year because you cannot be sure what will be the result. If you work hard and get a good score in a course you do, then companies will definitely pick you for the best job profile.So check some good univs like BIT, LPU, RV etc and try for admission as you are also liable for a big scholarship based on your XIIth score

You can get a direct admission in BBD University on the basis of your percentage. Minimum percentage is 55% but as you mentioned your percentage is 60% so you don't need to worry you can easily get admission.

The best scheme for you would be to take admission in a college which we can say provisional, that is you take admission in a lower degree and inform the college about your compartment. Then before the last date of admission you can give the college your pass result and you will be transferred to the next higher degree. Check this scheme from some colleges like PES, LPU etc
