It is best time to start preparing for IAS-2014. as you are pursuing b.tech. ,so you must be competent enough to solve 2nd paper CSAT. only thing required is enough practice from standard book. for GS you have to do hard work to cover all component of syllabus and analyze last year papers to get feel of toughness and coverage.GS is also major part of mains exam so from starting your focus should be on GS.
