As per the eligibility criteria the minimum aggregate to pursue JBT after completion of HSC is 50% and after Graduation it is 45%. As you have mentioned about your graduation aggregate and based on which you do not stand eligible for this course.

Opting for Civil engineering would bring better and wide career opportunities and it is the core discipline in engineering offering a lot of depth to the the education that one shall receive.

As for not pursuing higher education is concerned, this would entirely depend on your interest but then I would never advise you to restrict your education up to bachelors as the career options are always lesser for a graduate and the growth options too is very low.
