First of all I wish you good luck. I am writing this note on the basis of my personal experiences. At one point of time I had a craze for IAS. I tried twice and both the times failed in the interview. It was not because I didn't go to a coaching centre but because I was not mature with my approaches.
Don't think of going to any coaching institute now. Think of going to an institute only after your graduation. A coaching institute only serves the purpose of giving you guidance. It doesn't give you knowledge. Just focus on the basics of school education. Revise the complete NCERT syllabus up to CLass X. Be particular about your subjects in the +2 level. Once you complete your +2 revise the entire syllabus again.

Magazine- Frontline, Yojana, Kurukshetra, CSR, GKR etc.
Go through The Gazetteer of India and India Year Book published by the Publication Division.
