To become Bank manager in Government Sector banks Then you have to Clear the BANK PO (Probationary officer ) Entrance Exam Conduct by Various Govt. banks. To Appear for this Exam you must be Graduate in any Discipline.

well.now even I am confused.tell me whether you wish to continue your studies in India or abroad. In case your answer is India then sure go ahead with the distance education thing but if you are looking for overseas education then distance education dosen't make any sense. As the fees will be same as of international students and also to the best of my knowledge I can say that for the exams and all you will still be required to fly off to the specific country. unless they have exam centres in India.
So first be very clear about your approach and then go ahead with it.
