Somaiya College is very popular college and BMS and MBA is one of the best course they have and had maintained its standards very well. Genuinely speaking, lecturers are very good and even most of the students attend the lectures. This college is a private college and management is completely private. It has an affiliation with Mumbai University. The college has a very big campus and it is the largest in Mumbai. Somaiya College has many other streams like medical, science, management and Polytechnic, etc. The fee is also nominal and students for arts and commerce. Travel wise its hardly 10 minutes walkable from the central, Vidya Vihar station. You also get share auto rickshaws from Vidhya-Vihar station to reach college. I myself passed out from Somaiya College and will recommend this college. Only to get admissions, you require a good percentage i.e minimum distinction. Then on basis of merits, selection will happen.

Yes, you can definitely do that and your work experience makes a huge difference. I can not explain how important it is. Many concepts related to leadership, organization management, change management need work experience. You will not make much out of those classes if you do not have experience. For instance, the question would be: how did you deal with your team? What conflicts did you encounter as a team manager or member? Think about it, if you have not worked, how would you know? So, it is very much needed to have work experience. Ideally, MBA is recommended when you want to move into any leadership roles or you started a leadership role and need help to do well.
