For arts and sciences group students, you need to have a degree in either BCA or B.Sc in computer science. As these fields are related to IT sector, you may get jobs easily in an IT firm.

Your rank is good enough to be called in the first day or the second day of counselling. That is on June 19 or June 20.
So you may get the courses you wish to but only 70% seats are being filled under stream 1 so that it depends on the no. of applicants and seats available.
As per your rank, there are medium chances to get EEE course.

With all India General Rank and without home state, you need at least 28 thousand rank and for other states, around 25 thousand rank to be able to get ECE. For EEE, around 32 thousand rank for home state and 28k for other states.

My friend reviewed that:
My college is the best and it will be the best in the future as well.
Placements: It was a great experience as I got placed in Genpact from my college. About 70% students got placed in various companies. They were satisfied with the pay scale they got. One of my friends got 5 lakhs annually from a company. Everyone was placed as an accountant in various companies. Companies which visited our college are Capgemini, PWC and British Telecom.
