the prelims is just the objective kind and mains would be detail question answer pattern.
you need to put sincere and focused efforts if you wanna realy crack it.its one of the toughest exams.

be absolutely thorough with the current affairs. HINDU is avery good newspaper. follow it regularly. u can also refer the chronicle magazine.

In IELTS, you would need a minimum score of 6.5 band score with a minimum score of 6 in each section. In class 12th, you would require atleast 80% and above with atleast 75 marks in the subjects physics, chemistry and English.
