Hi,
You do not need a degree in commerce for a corporate law career. In fact you need to have a law degree. One can either pursue a three-year law course after graduation in any discipline or a five-year integrated law course after 10+2 , leading to a BA LLB (Hons). Practically all universities offer the part time three-year LLB course for graduates. Generally, eligibility for this is on the basis of marks scored at the graduation examinations. hence whatever state of graduation you are in, please follow this route. Once you have a LLB degree then you can specialise in corporate law.
Hope this helps. All the best.

Hi Gopal
The scope of company secretary is increasing day by day in this era full of MNC's. The first thing you should do is to register yourself with the Institute of Company Secretary of India after completing your course.
LLB plus CS is a good combination. You can either work in the capacity of a CS or a legal advisor in a company. The pay packet for these posts are hefty with a range of facilities. If your work is good you can also be promoted to senior managerial level position in the company.
All the best

Hi!
You can look at other LLB colleges along with DU. In the meantime you can look at various 1 year diploma courses in Law - Taxation, Cyber, Labour, International Law, etc. Most of the diploma courses are available at the post graduate level however there are a few undergraduate options also through distance education. You can look at some computer courses also. We would recommend that you focus most of your energies towards preparing for the entrance examinations as that is main goal.
All the Best!

Hi Teja,
Most colleges have a different provision for admission based on course offered, duration, mode of teaching / type of courses. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.
