Hi Divya,
Only the Bachelor's degree holders in architecture (B.Arch.) are eligible for admission to the Master's program in the discipline. However, the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi-110002, provides specialization options for meritorious civil engineering graduates in its M.Arch. program and related fields.
Mechanical and Architecture are two completely different streams. Some universities may allow you to do it. But it seems to be an odd choice.

Hi Reshu,
It is advisable that you gain atleast one year work experience in India and then look for a job in USA. This will give you an edge over others and you can establish a good network within the period. You can learn more about latest trends and in demand things and accordingly you can develop your profile. Creativity and an unique portfolio is required for good jobs in USA.
Alternatively you can opt to study a short term course and then apply for a job. The first option is however feasible.
Hope this helps.

Hi Reshu,
Why not town planning, CEPT, and other related things?
MBA is open for all, but in India, recruiters don't value the professional undergraduate degree for their worth.

Hi Reshu,
MBA or M.Arch can be beneficial because you'll have a better idea what will be required of you in the professional world. An MBA / M.Arch would be very helpful if your goal is to own your own business or to be a principal in an architectural firm. Also, I must mention that if your bachelors degree in architecture is not a 5 year program, in most cases you will not be allowed to get registered. It makes more sense to get your Masters in Architecture first, then work for a few years, get your licenses, and then purse the MBA. This is a very effective way to keep your career on track while learning the business background on the

Hi Reshu,
It is definitely possible. But it will be hard as entry level landscape architects do not get paid very well. You might ease into the transition by taking an IT related job at a landscape architecture firm or developer and build a network (human) which you can leverage to make the transition.

The F&B industry in India is set to touch Rs. 3.80 trillion by 2017. I would say that the culinary world contributes to the F&B world, meaning that if you work in either sector, you will still be involved in both and will need to have some knowledge of both.
That being said, the opportunity to grow and experiment in things directly related to the kitchen is on the culinary side, as you will be able to make decisions directly relating to food and cuisines. So culinary is great if your end goal is becoming say, a master chef! Food and beverage careers could mean you can look at careers like food manufacturers or in the food management ch
