Assuming that you belong to the general quota, a board score of 85 to 90 % would mean you would need a pretty good score of 200+ . Even though they say board marks count to only 40% , trust me they are the ones which will decide your rank if your jee mains score isn't extraordinary.

SPA Delhi is best institute for architecture and for best you really need a good score. in my opinion you need to score 250+ for guaranteed admission in architecture but
215 would be enough for admission in planning branch. But with these marks you will get selected in the spot round only. For admission in first round you need a score of 290+.

As marks reduce, ranks increase rapidly. Suggested either an exponential function or a polynomial one. Got sufficient data by asking students to send me their marks and ranks – experimenting with the data found a reasonable fit with a formula as rank = ((k – marks) / n)^p.
Thus for 2010, rank = ((480 – marks) / 55)^5.5;
for 2011, rank = ((520 – marks) / 55)^5.5;
and for your year, 2012, rank = ((430 – marks) / 45)^5.5 worked very well (obviously, there is disparity between actual and calculated – more at the top level ranks).

JEE BARCH
It includes engineering level maths. You'd prepare for it the same way you'd do for paper 1 maths.
The aptitude section is very easy. Gk and logic questions are easy to crack.
The drawing section isn't very demanding and is just a basic approach.
It is 3 hours paper. ( maths and aptitude. +Drawing paper)
